Having previously enjoyed L’Osteria in another location, I returned with high expectations — and I was thoroughly impressed by the same quality and menu choice. The food itself was delicious and the pizzas are a great deal bigger than other restaurants. A real treat if you’re hungry. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient with prompt service although the restaurant was quite busy. Our food arrived around 15 minutes after ordering which was unexpected but very welcome. The location of the restaurant is ideally placed whatever the weather. Outdoor seating makes for a good harbour view and plenty of indoor seating over two floors. Highly recommended and will continue to search for L’Osteria when I’m away travelling. You really won’t be disappointed.

Probably it’s a nice place when the weather is not that hot. When it is HOT, than you will feel it indoor & outdoor. Stange that they didn’t think to put there some thing to make visiting more comfortable, like air conditioning system or so. The service was nice, but in the end nobody came so we paid at the reception to another waiter. Tiramisu was nice , but too much cacao on top so it was dangerous to breathe it in the moment of spoon near by your mounts (it happened with me twice until I started to be careful). But the view is nice.

Had a pizza on the go as it was full and we were a big gang. Had their Salami Cheese Pizza with their homemade Bruschetta and it was delicious. Where we live here in Germany we have also an L’Osteria Restaurant and it’s always a treat to eat there. So when we saw that there was one here in Travemünde we went there with open hearts. Unfortunately all of the seats were taken plus a lot of reservations and cause we needed a bigger table we decided (on their recommendation) to take a pizza on the go plus their Bruschetta. The best! Forgot to take some pictures of the dishes…..
